It all began with a simple hiring post on LinkedIn. When a Data Science mentor position was announced, over 250 people applied—revealing something significant: there are countless skilled professionals passionate about teaching. Some see it as a side pursuit, others as a full-time career, a means to share knowledge, or an opportunity for additional income.
This realization uncovered a vast untapped market of educators—people eager to teach but without the right platform. That insight led to the creation of LCMGO, a live class platform designed to bridge the gap between teachers and learners.
During the development of LCMGO, one key question guided every decision: How can we make this experience truly different for students?
That’s when we created the concept of Buddy Learning—a model built around small, focused batches. This small-batch approach solves one of the biggest problems in online learning: the disconnection between teacher and student in large, crowded batches. By keeping batches small, every student receives personalized attention, direct interaction, and real engagement, eliminating the feeling of attending a recorded class.
Next, we thought about how teachers and students would actually find each other. That led to the idea of building a live learning marketplace—a space where teachers can list and teach their courses freely, and students can discover mentors who match their interests and learning goals.
Just like how Amazon connects sellers and buyers, LCMGO connects teachers and learners—in real time, with real interaction.
So, from one LinkedIn post came a complete ecosystem: A live class platform empowering teachers to teach without technical hassle. A Buddy Learning model ensuring personal connection and interactive learning. A live marketplace where teachers and students can meet freely and grow together. That’s how LCMGO was born—out of a simple observation, shaped by real needs, and driven by the belief that learning should always feel human, connected, and alive.
